Just when you thought it was safe to head out to your local board game store without fear of being tempted to ‘invest’ and I use the word loosely into your Elder Scrolls habit. We have yet another Elder Scrolls tabletop game announcement!
The Elder Scrolls VI: Betrayal of the Fandom.
Oh wait nope scratch that.
The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era by Chip Theory Games is set during the events of the main quest of The Elder Scrolls Online. Chip Theory has a great reputation for games and is working directly with the ESO dev team to create a tabletop experience that’s faithful to the wildly popular MMORPG.
Players will be embroiled in the machinations of Mannimarco the King of Worms’ attempt to overthrow Molag Bal and force all of the inhabitants of Nirn into servitude in the Oblivion realm of Coldharbour.
This follows on after the previous announcements of The Elder Scrolls: A Call to Arms and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim – The Adventure Game that I have reported on in other videos.
The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era is scheduled for release in the Fall of 2022 and will no doubt cost several hundred dollars. So start saving now and keep an eye out for any crowdfunding announcements if you’re into that sort of thing.
